At this time of year, I'm always reminded of when we bought our cottage nearly 20 years ago, one of its most endearing aspects was the maze of strawberry plants, growing wild in all sorts of nooks and crannies around the property. This month’s Sunday Lunch is, as always, based on seasonal produce as a celebration of what this time of year has on offer, but you might also notice a little lightness creeping in as we turn the corner into Spring. The freshness of fennel with Verjuice, the ease of chicken sausages dressed up with cumquats and the lovely tang of lemon meringue to finish.
